For as long as she can remember, Shari Duddy has dedicated her head, heart and hard work to improving the lives of people in need and organizations in her community.
In junior high school, Shari volunteered to work with senior citizens in a local nursing home. From then on, she has dedicated her time to a variety of organizations including ‘The Homeless Bus’, which provides hot food, clothing and toiletries to the homeless, and ‘Habitat for Humanity’, which builds and repairs houses all over the world using volunteer labor and donations.
Shari Duddy gives of her intellect, utilizing her training and qualifications to improve the lives of students through tutoring, yoga and meditation; also her culinary skills, catering numerous events for schools and community service organisations.
To this day, community service is an integral part of Shari’s life. Together with her daughter, she is currently taking part in the St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center foster program for dogs, which involves taking dogs into their home and providing care, love and shelter.
